AI PCB Footprint Generator
Footprint generators usually make you type in the package dimensions yourself. PartSpark reads the mechanical drawing and recommended land pattern from the datasheet, applies IPC-7351B conventions, and shows you the resulting pad table (pitch, pad size, courtyard, pin 1) before you download. QFN, QFP, BGA, SOT, SOIC, connectors, and odd custom modules all go through the same path.
- Pad geometry read from the package drawing, not a generic template
- IPC-7351B naming and land-pattern density conventions
- Courtyard, silkscreen outline, and pin 1 marker included
- Exposed pads and non-standard pitches handled from the drawing

Generate a PCB footprint now
Enter the part number or attach the package drawing. Check the pad dimensions on screen, then export the footprint and its matched symbol.

Find an existing part.
Search the online catalog used by ProtoFlow. Look up a part number, LCSC code, or specifications. Searching does not use generation credits.

FAQ
Common questions
- Which package types can the footprint generator handle?
- Any package with a mechanical drawing in the datasheet: QFN, DFN, QFP, BGA, SOIC, SOT, TSSOP, through-hole DIP and headers, connectors, and modules. For a package the datasheet documents poorly, upload a clearer drawing or the vendor land-pattern note and regenerate.
- Are the footprints IPC compliant?
- The generator follows IPC-7351B for land-pattern naming and pad calculations, and it reports the dimensions it used. Review them against the drawing and your fabricator rules before release; treat the output as a checked starting point, not a signed-off library part.
- Can I get only the footprint without a symbol?
- Every generation produces both, already linked, and you download whichever files you need. Building the symbol from the same pin table is what keeps pin 1 on the symbol equal to pad 1 on the board.
