Built for engineers

AI part generator. Built from the datasheet.

Most tools guess your footprint. PartSpark reads the real datasheet and builds the symbol and footprint in about a minute, with every pin laid out so you can check it. 3D models are available on paid plans.

Live generator

From datasheet to design file.

Type a part number, paste a datasheet link, or drop in the PDF. PartSpark returns the symbol, footprint, and 3D model — ready for your EDA tool.

Built for speed

Speed is the game.

You’re iterating on a schematic against a deadline. A part that takes an hour to find kills your momentum. We build around your pace, not a component library’s.

Setup required

[01]

About a minute per part.

No more digging through vendor PDFs. Most parts come back with a PCB footprint and symbol in about a minute.

[02]

Real datasheet parsing.

Drop in a datasheet and get pin mapping back automatically.

[03]

Refine, don’t restart.

Tell the AI what’s wrong in plain English and it revises the same part.

[04]

Built for your workflow.

Download KiCad and EAGLE libraries, plus Altium and Allegro import bundles.

Verified quality

Fast, and you can check it.

Every part shows its pin map and pad table next to the datasheet it came from. You catch pin mismatches here, not on your bench.

Wrong footprints, wrong pinouts.

The mismatches that fail boards after they’re built. Caught before you route.

Every pin laid out to check.

Each part comes with its full pin map and the generator’s notes on anything it had to assume.

The source ships with the part.

Datasheet references travel with every export, so your audit trail is done before you ask.

Example output

Real parts, checked against the datasheet.

These were generated from the part number alone, then every pin and pad was checked against the manufacturer datasheet. Download the files and open them in KiCad yourself.

Inside the pipeline

Three steps. No surprises.

[01]

Search

Give us the part number. We pull the real datasheet, no guesswork.

[02]

Generate

Our AI builds the footprint and symbol from the datasheet automatically.

[03]

Verify

Check the pin map and pad table against the datasheet, and refine in plain English if anything is off.

Search a part. Check it in minutes.

Datasheet-based footprints and symbols for the parts your library is missing. No manual builds, and no subscription to start.

FAQ

AI part generator questions

What is an AI part generator?
An AI part generator turns a part number or datasheet into the library assets an EDA tool needs: a schematic symbol, a PCB footprint, and often a 3D model. PartSpark reads the manufacturer datasheet with AI so pins, pads, and package dimensions come from the source rather than a generic template.
Does the AI part generator work with KiCad?
Yes. Every generation produces native .kicad_sym and .kicad_mod files for KiCad 6 and later (our example files are tested in KiCad 10), with the symbol’s footprint field already linked. The KiCad symbol generator and KiCad footprint generator pages walk through the import steps.
Is the symbol and footprint generator free?
Yes. Sign in with a free account for daily and monthly generation allowances. Paid ProtoFlow plans raise the limits and add premium AI models and 3D STEP model generation.
How accurate are AI-generated footprints?
PartSpark uses the manufacturer’s recommended land pattern when the datasheet has one and IPC-7351B conventions when it doesn’t, and it shows the pad table, pin map, and any assumptions it made, so you can check them against the drawing before you route. Treat each part as a reviewed starting point and run DRC in your EDA tool before production.
Which EDA tools can I export to?
KiCad, Altium Designer, Autodesk EAGLE, and Cadence Allegro. One generation produces all four bundles, so switching tools mid-project costs nothing extra.
