EAGLE Library Generator

EAGLE’s library editor hasn’t gotten easier since Autodesk ended new development — but plenty of boards still live there. PartSpark generates the schematic symbol and footprint from the part’s datasheet with AI and hands you an EAGLE-ready bundle, so maintaining a legacy design doesn’t mean drawing parts by hand.

  • EAGLE export bundle from the same one-pass generation
  • Also exports KiCad, Altium, and Allegro — useful mid-migration
  • Reads the real datasheet: obscure and end-of-life parts work too
  • Free generations with daily and monthly account allowances

Live generator

Generate an EAGLE part now

Type the part number or attach the datasheet. Download the EAGLE bundle, or grab KiCad files too if you’re mid-migration.

Up to 6 files / 20 MB each / 22 MB total

How to use it

Three steps, start to library.

  1. [01]

    Generate

Type the manufacturer part number, or attach the datasheet PDF (or a photo of the pinout and package pages) for unusual parts. A generation takes about a minute.

  2. [02]

    Check

Compare the pin map and pad table with the datasheet.

  3. [03]

    Use in EAGLE

Download the .lbr. It contains the device with its symbol and package already connected. Open it in the library editor or add it to your libraries.

Limits to know

What it won’t do for you.

  • Pads that share a pin number (for example a tab tied to a pin) are renamed in EAGLE with an @ suffix and connected to the same pin.
  • When the datasheet has no recommended land pattern, the footprint falls back to IPC-7351B conventions or KiCad’s standard footprint for the package, and the generator’s notes say so.
  • Slotted (oval) drill holes and non-plated mounting holes aren’t supported yet. Connectors that need them, such as many USB-C receptacles, need those holes added by hand.
  • Free accounts get the symbol and footprint. 3D STEP/WRL models are on paid plans.

The guide to checking a generated symbol and footprint before fabrication shows real cases where these limits mattered.

Example output

Real parts, checked against the datasheet.

These were generated from the part number alone, then every pin and pad was checked against the manufacturer datasheet. Download the files and open them in KiCad yourself.

FAQ

Common questions

EAGLE is discontinued — why generate parts for it?
Thousands of products still have their board files in EAGLE, and a respin or BOM substitution needs new library parts today. PartSpark builds them in about a minute — and exports the same part for KiCad or Altium when you migrate.
Can I get the same part for more than one EDA tool?
Yes. Every generation produces bundles for KiCad, Altium, EAGLE, and Allegro at once — download as many as you need without spending extra generations.
