Importing "AMS1117-3.3" into Altium Designer
=====================================

Symbol:
1. Open AMS1117-3.3.SchDoc in Altium Designer (File » Open).
2. Run Design » Make Schematic Library. Altium creates a .SchLib containing
   the "AMS1117-3.3" symbol; save it alongside your other libraries.

Footprint:
3. Open AMS1117-3.3.PcbDoc (File » Open). The "SOT-223-3_TabPin2" footprint is
   placed as a component on a small board.
4. Run Design » Make PCB Library. Altium creates a .PcbLib containing
   "SOT-223-3_TabPin2"; save it alongside your other libraries.
5. In the SchLib editor, add a Footprint model to the symbol and select
   "SOT-223-3_TabPin2" from that PcbLib.

Backup route (if your Altium version balks at the PcbDoc):
- Run File » Import Wizard, choose "KiCad Designs", and point it at the
  AMS1117-3.3.pretty folder; Altium converts SOT-223-3_TabPin2.kicad_mod
  into a .PcbLib.
